Tidier Lists and Settings

  • Add Item sits at the foot of the list, with the emoji button beside it. On iPhone, search is the round button next to it
  • Reorder Categories has its own screen, from the list’s ⋯ menu and from the template editor
  • Category headings sit at the top of their card
  • Delete Checked Items deletes straight away, with Undo. Delete notices are red
  • Templates: Edit a Copy opens the copy ready to rename. Add items with an emoji in the template editor
  • Settings: Import and Export say what they do. Share App and Rate This App are in Help & Support
  • A trip whose date has passed says Past

iPad, Share Trip and PDF Checklists

iPad

The app now runs on iPad, laid out for the bigger screen: your trips in a sidebar, the checklist in columns of category cards, and a side panel with your actions, your categories and the selected item.

Share Trip (Premium)

Send a trip to a friend as a file, with all items or just the unpacked ones. They open it in the app and add it as a new trip. It works with Travel Checklist on Android too.

Export to PDF (Premium)

Print a trip as a checklist, grouped by category, with an optional summary page and emojis.

Swipe between Pack and Edit

Swipe the list sideways, or drag along the Pack/Edit switch. To delete an item, use its menu.

Organise your categories

  • Move items to a different category: press and hold an item in Edit mode (on iPad, choose Change Category… in the side panel), select several items, and move them all to another category. You can also delete the selected items
  • Add categories from a list: paste category names to add them all at once
  • Delete unused categories: remove every category that has no items, in one step
  • Sort items A–Z or Z–A, and categories by most or least items, all with Undo
  • Edit a category or add a new one below it: press and hold a category heading, or on iPad tap ⋯ on the category card

New templates

Camping now has over 150 items, across three templates: Camping, Camping clothes and Camping food. And a new With kids template.

Emoji

Type any emoji to use it on an item. 23 new emoji are chosen automatically from item names.

Share Trip, Export to PDF, categories and templates are part of Premium.
