Simple Travel Checklist - Privacy Policy

Woohoo Software ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Simple Travel Checklist mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our App.

1. Your Data

Your content — including tasks, task history, and categories — is stored on your device. We do not have access to, collect, or store your personal task data.

No user accounts are required to use the App. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.

2. Google Drive Backup

The App offers an optional backup feature using Google Drive (available as an in-app purchase). If you choose to use this feature:

• Your data is transferred directly between your device and your Google Drive account
• We do not have access to your Google Drive credentials or backup files
• You can manage or delete your backups at any time through Google Drive

3. Purchase Data

In-app purchase status is managed by Google Play. We verify your purchase status using anonymous identifiers provided by Google Play — we do not have access to your payment details.

4. Advertisements

The free version of the App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can manage your ad preferences through your device settings. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

You can remove all ads by purchasing the Ad Removal in-app purchase.

5. Analytics and Crash Reporting

We use Firebase (Google) for crash reporting and basic usage analytics to help us improve the App. This data is anonymous and does not include your personal task data. For more information, see Firebase Privacy.

6. Data Security

Your data is protected by your device's built-in security measures. Data transferred to Google Drive is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Your Control Over Your Data

• You can edit or delete your data at any time within the App
• Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all data stored on your device
• Google Drive backups can be managed or deleted through your Google Drive account

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
